Expanded PTFE joint sealant is a soft, compressible gasket material made of 100% pure expanded PTFE. It is in place with almost any sealed surface of the ground gasket.

The gasket sheet is manufactured by extending the 100% original PTFE using a proprietary process that produces a uniform and highly fibrillated microstructure with the same tensile strength in all directions. The resulting product has significantly different characteristics from conventional PTFE sheets. This style is much more soft than ordinary PTFE sheets, making it easy to surface irregular and rough. In addition, the material is more susceptible to compression and minimizes creep and cold flow.

Expanded PTFE gasket material complies with FDA food contact regulations and EU 1935/2004. It is a universal gasket that can replace all other types of PTFE sheets. In addition to molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine, it seals all aggressive chemicals throughout the 0-14 pH range. Made of 100% original polytetrafluoroethylene, not only resistant to chemical erosion, but also can not pollute or fade the final product.

Widely applicable to all applications of the gasket. Suitable for all types of flanges, almost all media, wide temperature range and the highest requirements for purity applications. It was originally clean and non-toxic. Multi-directional expanded PTFE gaskets have excellent mechanical strength, allowing for minimal creep at elevated temperatures. The size of the gasket from the cutting is stable, that is, when the compression is not widened. This allows the narrow flange surface to be securely sealed. Installation is quick and easy. Used washers can be easily removed, no residue.
